First International Conference on the language of terrorists and terrorism in the 21st Century (Acronym: LTT21C)

Call for papers on any area related to language and terrorism. The following are some suggested topic areas:

  • The language of the law of terrorism
  • The language of 'the war on terrorism'
  • The language of those who encourage or sponsor terrorism
  • Interviewing and assessing terrorist suspects
  • The rhetoric of modern terrorism
  • Foucaultian perspectives on inherited discourses in the language of terrorism

Abstracts (not exceeding 200 words) to be received by November 10, 2008
